Welcome to the land of Mochi-Buns, a modest lil’ Aussie business lovingly run by our family of toy tinkerers. We believe everyone needs something huggable that makes their world a cuter place and sparks joy in their daily grind of life 🌟

And that’s why we’ve created these oblong-shaped little squishbutts, for all of us to instil some soft squishy goodness & cute cuddly comfort into our everyday mundanity!

What Are “Mochi-Buns”?

Our Mochi-Buns are 100% original, exclusive designs brewed in our very own home. The name Mochi-Bun comes from wanting to create cuddly companions for all ages that are squishy-soft and stretchy like mochi, plus longish-shaped like bread loaves / buns for both kids and adults to wrap their arms around comfortably!

We wanted something adorably awesome that the young’uns would enjoy snuggling, and as a plus for us kidults, something that also doubled as neck and lumbar support for our everyday grind ₍₍ ᕕ(⌐■‿■)ᕗ ⁾⁾

Then of course we had to make our Mochi-Buns the cutest little animals, because we’re big lovers of furry friends here but unfortunately can’t have them all as pets (｡•́︿•̀｡) With Mochi-Buns though, now we can have them all ٩(♥▿♥)۶ !

How Everything Began

Well once upon a time in a land not far away… We were working a typical 9-5 job. Everything seemed normal until one day, it really hit us that life could be so short. Yet, for 5 out of 7 days a week — that’s a whopping 71% of our life (!!) — we were putting in blood, sweat and tears for a stranger far, far away with different passions.

So naturally we asked the all-important question,
” DOES THIS SPARK JOY? ”
→ Hint: Nope.

And SHABLAM! That’s when we started doing something with our lifelong love of all things cute and cuddly! We set out to create something with soft squishy goodness & cute cuddly comfort that would spark joy for ourselves and many others.

We simply began sketching all the cutest pets we’ve always wanted in real life but couldn’t have a gazillion of, then lo and behold, eventually all our Mochi-Buns were born and ready to be adopted into their new homes!

Our Mochi-Bun Goals!

We want every kid and kidult to be able to enjoy the companionship of their favorite animals, snuggling with their pet pillows on the couch every day or hugging their bedtime buddies every night!

Each with their own little names and personalities, both young and young-at-heart fans can choose their favourite Mochi-Bun characters to adopt. Even better, we’ve got new designs coming up (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ !!

Several more collections are currently sitting on the drawing board, being infused with cuteness and prepped for maximum huggability.
